Location

The premises are situated on the north side of Brake Road close to its junction with Retford Road the B6387 which leads from Boughton in the south to Gamston and Retford in the north. Brake Road leads to the A614 Nottingham - Bawtry road to the west.

Walesby Garden Centre is situated approx. Half a mile from the centre of the village of Walesby.

Walesby is a small village with a population of approx. 1200 and provides a local shop, primary school, two public houses, church and has regular bus services to Retford and to Mansfield which are some 9 and 11 miles away respectively. The village has excellent road access to the A614 and to the A1 which is approx. 4 miles to the north.

Description

Walesby Garden Centre has been established for in excess of 40 years renowned for its Christmas Fayre stock , and the growing of conifers etc, but unfortunately due to the proprietor's ill-health it has recently had to close.

The garden centre comprises a detached three bedroom bungalow known as Sandhurst which offers a lounge/dining area, breakfast kitchen, larder, three double bedrooms, bathroom, lean-to conservatory/utility and store, whilst to the rear there is a retail/display area of approx. 416.15 sq.ms which includes a self-contained sales shop and stores.
