Situation - The Mill Barn is well situated on the edge of the tucked away hamlet of Pill Farm along the River Fowey about half a mile south of the centre of popular Lostwithiel. Restormel Borough Council (now Cornwall Council) Planning Control Section on 26th April 2006 stated that as a material commencement has taken place the consent is still extant. Conditions 8, 9, 10 and 12 have been discharged by Cornwall Council on 6th September 2011.

Drive along Quay Street running parallel with the River Fowey. Bear left passing under the railway. Drive for about 200 yards through the park and turn right passing under the railway (please note low bridge - there is an alternative vehicular route to the property). Immediately after going under the railway, turn left. Pass the terrace of cottages on the right. Continue for about a further 250 yards and The Mill Barn will be seen on the right hand side.
