Found 11 miles north of Preston and 10 miles south of Lancaster it couldn't be better placed to enjoy all of Lancashire's beautiful countryside. The High Street features characteristic weinds which date back to medieval times. And the weekly market, stretching the length of the high street, is held every Thursday, and has been since 1310.
