Camberwell Green provides a focal point for the community, with a variety of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops situated close to it on Camberwell Church Street, as well as along Camberwell Road and Denmark Hill. Burgess Park, less than a mile from Elmington Green, is a venue for local events such as the Camberwell Fair, and offers a host of facilities including play areas, a fishing lake, gardens, cycle track, running trails, tennis courts and sports pitches.
