Shifnal railway station in the town centre runs regular trains to Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street and regular bus services also run between Telford and Wolverhampton via Shifnal. For air travel Birmingham Airport is less than 40 miles via the M54 and M6.
