Denby Bank is an eclectic new development of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes situated in Marehay, close to the outskirts of Ripley, a bustling market town in the beautiful Amber Valley.
The development provides a range of homes where purchasers of all ages and circumstances can come together and live within this traditionally designed environment.
The mixture of 4 bedroom houses arranged over 2 or 3 floors are perfect for families, whilst the 2 and 3 bedroom houses are ideal for first time buyers, professional couples, young families and those downsizing from a larger home.
The wide appeal of new homes is their inherent low maintenance and energy efficient nature, which will aid with future running costs. Everything is new, everything is where you would want it and at modern standards so you can simply move in and enjoy your new home.
The layouts of the homes are designed for modern living with the kitchen as the hub of the home and many open plan living/dining areas spanning from it.
If you prefer to keep active, Ripley Leisure Centre has a gym, swimming pool and classes, whilst Ormonde Fields Golf and Country Club is an established 18 hole course providing some testing terrain. Alternatively, take a stroll around any of the surrounding hills and countryside as the Amber Valley is a stunning rural setting!
Marehay is a small village, famous locally for its Kestral public house, its cricket club and the annual horticultural show. Nearby Denby is world renowned for producing quality pottery and first started producing locally in 1809.
The company’s factory outlet is close to Denby Bank and is quite a tourist attraction in itself. Ripley offers a wide range of everyday amenities with a weekly market in front of the impressive town hall. The pedestrianised Oxford Street has many independent shops such as antiques, home furnishings, florists, bakeries and a butcher, as well as high street brands and a supermarket. There is also an out of town Sainsbury’s, which is very convenient.
