The Development is a stone walled, slate roofed refurbishment of existing farm buildings. The original roofs, floors and interiors of the buildings have been removed with only the existing walls remaining, all replaced with a mixture of traditional and modern materials to end up with a thoroughly modern, highly insulated dwelling, while retaining the rustic character of the original buildings.
While enjoying views over undulating farmland right across to the Lammermuir Hills the development experiences a feeling of seclusion, but at the same time is close to the varied and famed attractions over the whole county of East Lothian - the golf courses, beaches and wonderful scenery.

Kitchens
Designer kitchens will be supplied from our extensive range each individually designed to suit each home. Stainless steel oven, five burner hob and chimney hood along with integrated dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer will be incorporated as standard. Under unit lighting and splashback between worktops and wall units and Porcelanosa tiles will be offered from our comprehensive range.
Bathrooms
The bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom sanitary ware will be supplied by Porcelanosa to compliment the tile range by the same company.
Windows & Doors
Windows and roof windows will be high performance double glazed units as will be the external doors and screens. Internal doors will be hardwood panelled doors and wardrobes will be fitted with feature doors.
Electrical
Ample power, lighting, telephone and television points are located throughout each home. Locations are dependent on the house type. There will be downlighters throughout each house type with smoke detectors where required.
Heating
The efficient central heating system to each house will be gas fired with thermostatic valves throughout.
External
A parking space for each property will be available with additional visitor's car parking spaces. The courtyard will be landscaped to a high standard and all house gardens will be turfed.

Transport links
For the commuter and traveller the development position is excellent. For the driver, both the A1 trunk road and the Edinburgh City by-pass are minutes away, while the centre of Edinburgh is a matter of twenty five minutes drive. Public transport is also convenient, with Tranent and an excellent bus service about a mile nearby and Wallyford train station a few miles for a train direct into the centre of Edinburgh. For journeys further afield Edinburgh Airport is less than a half an hour drive away.
