Description

Dovecote Steadings is located in the beautiful historic village of Bolton only 2 miles South from the county town of Haddington and 35 minutes drive from Edinburgh. This delightful rural setting is not only encircled by beautiful countryside but is steeped in Scottish history.

The surrounding area of Haddington has played host to some of the most historic events in the early history of Scotland and Haddington itself was granted a Royal Burgh in the early 12th Century by David I. Today it is still a major tourist attraction with historic churches and castles and also strong connections with France through twinning with the French town Aubigny-sur-N่re.
