Shrewsbury is a popular tourist spot, with lots to see and do all year round. There are over 650 listed buildings in the town, including a castle and an abbey, plus spectacular Shropshire scenery in all directions. Just nine miles from the Welsh border, you’ll find the stunning castles of the Welsh marches close at hand, with the mountains of Snowdonia and beaches of Cardigan Bay are both within easy reach for a fun family day out.
