There is a post office in the village, along with Spa, Co-op and Tesco Express supermarkets for your weekly grocery shopping.

The village has an excellent choice of local restaurants, including Bon restaurant and wine bar and Saffron Indian restaurant.

You’ll also find a great choice of traditional country pubs in the village and the surrounding area, including the Red Bear, Oddfellows Arms and Forresters Arms in Sherburn, the Queen o’ t’ Owd Thatch in South Milton, the White Horse in Church Fenton and the Ash Tree in Barkston Ash.

Sherburn Aero Club is renowned for having some of the best facilities in the country, as well as a very active social programme that is the hub of village life.
