Crossrail is a project to build a major new railway link under central London, connecting the City, Canary Wharf, the West End and Heathrow Airport to commuter areas east and west of the capital, dramatically reducing travel times to London.

West Drayton station is on the route running from Maidenhead to Canary Wharf and beyond, providing a quick, direct commute to central London, the Square Mile and Docklands. The station will be modernised and upgraded to accommodate the new Crossrail trains, once the scheme is complete there will be two trains per hour between West Drayton and Central London.
