Leigh on Sea is a thriving community situated on the edge of the famous resort town of Southend on Sea with its beaches and famous attractions. Local facilities include a wide variety of shops, schools, public houses and churches. Many of these facilities are situated close to the historic fishing and boat building port of Old Leigh with much of the Old Town still in existence.
The Leigh on Sea branch is situated in the centre of Leigh on Sea’s main shopping parade known as Broadway. The town is also well situated for the commuter, with a direct rail line to London’s Fenchurch Street and Stansted Airport being approximately 40 miles.
