    I have 20 years of experience in Estate Agency and have spent the past 14 years as a Director at Able Estates. I have a wealth of experience in Sales, Lettings and Property Management and whether its buying or renting , I enjoy helping people find their ideal home.     It really doesn't feel that long ago, however it was back in 89 that I started in estate agency. Back then I worked for a large corporate company which is also where I met my fellow directors of Able Estates. We all enjoyed the job but thought we could offer a better service to clients than that of our employers who seemed to be so resticted by too much red tap to enable them to offer a more personal approach. In 1997 we decided to open Able Estates. Its been an exciting challenge owning a business. Sharing the responsibilities has been beneficial to the way the company is run, which in turn is proven by the service we are able to offer our clients. Outside of work, family life keeps me busy being blessed with boy and girl twins. If and when I get any spare time I like to fill it by going to the gym, cycling, running, golf or cooking.

    I started out on my Estate Agency career back in April 1988, 23 years ago !! For the first 9 years I worked for a Corporate Estate Agent where I progressed to Senior Branch Manager. In February 1997 Dawn, Peter & Myself decided to go it alone & opened the doors of Able Estates & the rest as they say is History. All 3 of us are still very hands on working in both branches. Outside of work I am kept equally busy by my 3 wonderful children, in between this I like to keep fit, go to the Cinema, hit the Golf course and play at being a DJ. Happy days.

    I started my estate agency career off in 2003 as a weekend sales negotiator in Plumstead. I really enjoyed the variety the job offered; meeting a diverse cross section of people, visiting all types of property and being able to spend my day in and out of the office. I soon realised I had preference to the lettings market and when a position for a full time lettings negotiator came available I was offered the chance to fill the role. Since then I moved to do lettings in Welling before taking the role at Able Estates which is only 5 minutes from where I live ( no excuses for being late in! ) In my spare time I love to listen to live music and enjoy spending time socialising with friends and family.

    I started with Able Estates back in 2005 as the branch secretary. At the time I was new to estate agency though since then I feel I have continued to learn a great deal to do with both the lettings and sales side of the business. Fortunately living locally gives me an insight to our area and I can often answer queries clients may have regarding Abbey Wood and surrounding areas.I have recently been blessed with a beautiful grandson and very much enjoy spending as much time with him as possible. When I'm not on baby sitting duties I am a keen cake baker ( much to the pleasure of my colleagues ) and also enjoy keeping fit at Zumber classes.

    I first started in estate agency back in 1996 as a mortgage consultant for Halifax estate agents. I thoroughly enjoyed holding the hands of my clients and leading them through the mine field of the mortgage market and ensuring they secured the best mortgage deal that was right for them. After a few years I was asked to attend a fastrack course to become a branch manager of their Swanley office. Becoming a manager gave me more insight into estate agency, motivating staff and the oppotunity to see a house sale through from the first initial viewing to the moment the keys are handed over. In 2000 my career was put on hold to have twins which has obviously kept me busy. However now they are at school this has allowed me to return part time for Able Estates ( I like to think its my experience within estate agency that got me the job, not that I am married to one of the bosses ! )

    May I introduce myself, my name is Mark Favell and I have been working in the Financial Services industry since 1992 and since 1998 as an Independent Mortgage Advisor. I set up Shooters Hill Mortgages in 2004 and have access to the whole of the intermediary market for mortgage and life insurance products. I have recently become part of the Able Estates team and I am looking forward to helping their buyers and sellers with their mortgage and insurance needs.
