      RIGHTMOVE, ZOOPLA & ON THE MARKET - the BIG 3! We have a close relationship with all 3 portals and utilise them all to ensure that the property listings are the best they can be. With frequent training, imagery circulation and keeping up with all the latest updates and changes, we make sure to know each portal inside out. 

      SOCIAL MEDIA - it's the future! No matter who you talk to, you can't get away from social media, so we are embracing it and using it to the fullest. You will see your properties on Facebook and Twitter, this enables us to 'chat' with someone who sees the post and has a question instead of waiting for an e-mail reply, we can respond almost immediately.

      First things First - Finance


      Before you begin viewing properties you need to know how much you can spend, we would suggest that you look to arranging your finances. We would hate for you to fall in love with a property only to find it is over your budget.

      If you need a mortgage, check with your local bank or building society or even better talk to a financial advisor. We would be very happy to put you in touch with someone who can provide you with independent financial advice, on a confidential basis, without commitment who we have a great relationship with and who has given advise to a number of recent purchasers. If you are a cash buyer, with funds in the bank, check if you need to give notice before your money is withdrawn.

      The Fun Part - time to arrange the viewings


      Now that you have your finance in place it is time to start viewing properties, this really is the fun part as it allows you to find out the kind of property you really do like, and rule out the properties that you don't. You may come to the buyers market thinking that you want a 2 bedroom town house, but in fact you fall in love with a 3 bedroom 1st floor flat with sea views, this is the exciting part and it is a great idea to view as many different style properties as possible. 

      It is easier if you have a good idea of what you are looking for but if you don't, don't panic, come in to the office and have a chat with us. We will be able to listen to you and advise on the properties that we think match your requirements, we are here to help. If you like the look of anything that we show you, let us know, and we will arrange a viewing to suit you.

      On the first viewing it is very difficult to remain objective, especially if you fall in love with the property. We would always advise a second, longer viewing to look around with more critical eye and a (mental or written) list of questions to ask Linda. If you forget to ask a question during the viewing, don't panic, just contact the sales team and they will be able to answer the question, they really are a lovely, friendly team.

      You have found the property you want, it is in your price range, you love the area and everyone is happy - woohoo.

      Now What?

      This is the point you would put in an offer. This can be a daunting prospect, particularly if you are a first time buyer or haven't moved for a while. Just remember, Estate Agents don't bite! We are here to help. You can put forward an offer in any way you feel comfortable, e-mail, letter, telephone call or in person. We will ask you a few questions and happily put forward your offer.
