      Supporting non-UK Customers...
      Our experience was probably atypical in that we are expats living in Buenos Aires and therefore many of the 'normal' procedures involved in purchasing property were more complicated for us e.g. the simple need to produce proof of domicile is not so easy if you have just moved countries and homes and only one person in the couple receives bills to the new domicile. However, most of the hassles were with the documents required by the solicitors and the Aspen Woolf reps did their best to 'mediate'. 

      Everything would have been much easier if people remembered that 'the devil is in the detail'. e.g. Dear Kevin, we've just sent a full set of attachments. They may seem overwhelming. It will help you to know that :1.They are not equally important, so you can prioritise your time.

      The contract is the real priority. This does not need to be legally certified so just sign it and scan the signature page and email it to us asapetc, etc...in summary, empathising with new customers in non-UK locations and adding that informed, pro-active human voice. Not that the experience was 'bad' at all, just that it could have been less stressful. To repeat, the Aspen Wool reps were far better at this than the solicitors' reps.

      Aspen Woolf have been great from the start with the help of purchasing and now helping to sell one of our properties.

      This property had become a nightmare to sell for us as we live outside the UK and we were trying to get hold of important documents but we were getting the run around from the third party involved, we were really worried as this was causing a delay and we could loose the buyer. But Ellie Woods went above and beyond for us and managed to get hold of these documents and we are Just waiting for the sale to go through now.
