    Our Land and Property Auctions involve a short intense marketing campaign with a realistic price guide which we aim to exceed.

    We have seven collective auctions a year which are extremely well supported. A specific auction catalogue is produced; local, regional and national newspaper advertising is utilised, extensive use of all relevant property websites is carried out and regular mailing and e mailing to our extensive mailing list is also carried out.

    The marketing campaign varies but usually takes place over a four to six week period and towards the end of the campaign a full Legal Pack is made available to prospective purchasers electronically.

    Viewings take place usually in blocks depending on the property, and these dates are published widely. The auction itself is always an exciting conclusion to a busy marketing campaign and will often result in competitive bidding between experienced auction goers and first time novices.

    The auction process really is a tried and tested way of achieving the best result within a specific timespan to certain properties.

    How To Bid in Online Auction

    Bidding in our online auction is safe and easy, you shouldn't be nervous or anxious about it. We try very hard to make the process intuitive and simple to follow, so don't worry about "accidentally" buying as our process is robust. Our online auctions are safe and secure and you have peace of mind that you are transacting via a platform operated by the UK's no.1 property auctioneer.

    Ways to bid in our online auction:
    Live Online Bidding

    As a potential buyer you will have completed our Passport to bid. You will not be able to register a bid until you have completed your Passport to Bid.

    • Registration - During the process of obtaining your Passport to Bid you will be required to agree to our Terms and Conditions, provide a valid email address and mobile phone number both of which will require verification.
    • Property Information - Interested buyers can, when available, download free of charge an Auction Pack for the property they wish to bid on. This pack contains Title Entries, Personal Local Search and Water & Drainage Search. If the property is leasehold and or tenanted then a copy of these agreements will be available for inspection upon request.
    • Viewing - Each property has a programmed schedule of Open House viewing sessions over the three week marketing period, these viewing sessions provide the opportunity to turn up and view without prior appointment.
    • Bidding - The period of bidding will be typically 7 days following a 14 day period of marketing, after which the timed auction will close providing 60 second extensions, allowing final bidding, until highest bid stands uncontested.
    By Online Proxy

    Proxy bidding is used when you wish to pre-submit your highest offer to purchase.

    • Bidding is regulated automatically within the auction platform and the system will provide notice if your proxy has met the reserve price
