    Balgores Property Services Romford Branch occupy prominent state of the art offices on the corner of South Street and Victoria Road, close to Romford Main Line railway station. Headed by Martin Gibbon FNAEA, who has been selling property in the local area since the mid 80's and Matthew Butler MNAEA, who started in the industry in 1997.

    • As soon as you consider selling your home, you will require an accurate current market value. At Balgores, appraisals are carried out by a senior member of staff to assess the current value of your property and discuss a marketing plan that works for your individual needs and time scales.

      We will provide extensive research/comparables from leading property databases - including land registry - allowing us to provide an accurate price. In addition, we will give you a detailed breakdown of moving costs.

      Presentation of your home at Balgores is paramount. Firstly, we will produce high quality full colour sales particulars, including professional photography, together with a 360 degree virtual tour, if required and floor plans.

      Your property will be matched to suitable buyers who will be contacted immediately by telephone. Our pro-active sales consultants will be eager to encourage viewings of your property at your earliest convenience. In addition, your property details will be emailed, SMS texted and mailed.

      Your property will be displayed from our prominent, centrally located offices via our digital display system and window display.

      There is nothing more frustrating than silence. Following a viewing, our aim is to contact you within 24 hours with honest and constructive feedback from prospective buyers.

      We will advise you even if we are unsuccessful in making contact with the viewers within this time.     Martin Gibbon FNAEA - Group Managing Director
    Martin has been successfully involved in Estate Agency since the mid 80's, progressing with a large PLC to Regional Manager and eventually opening his first Balgores office in Hornchurch in 2002. Since then the Balgores Property Group has gone from strength to strength and now boasts 6 offices throughout Essex. Martin puts Balgores' success down to "complete focus on customer service from our enthusiastic, positive and hardworking team".
    A family man, Martin loves to spend time with his wife and young children, his other passions are West Ham United and fishing.

    Matthew Butler MNAEA - Area Director
    Matthew started in the industry in 1997 within a large corporate company where he worked with Group MD Martin Gibbon. He joined Balgores in 2005 to open the Romford Branch, which has gone from strength to strength. Matthew is a family man with a wife and two children with whom he spends most of his spare time. He is also a keen sports fan.

    Peter Walker - Financial Services Director
    Peter has been with the Company since inception and has worked in the industry since 1997. Peter constantly focus' on best advice and customer service, this has resulted in customers returning to Peter time after time, for advice on all mortgage related matters. Peter is an avid West Ham fan and also loves to watch live music.

    Gavin Hockett MNAEA - Branch Manager
    Gavin joined Balgores Hornchurch in 2004. The Company then opened the Romford Branch in 2005 where he is now the Branch Manager of a successful team. Gavin's knowledge of the local area is second to none. When Gavin is not working his keen interests are golf where he almost made it as a professional.

    Simon joined the Company in 2009, leaving behind a successful career in the Entertainments Industry, with a string of television credits, including a starring role in BBC's Grange Hill. Simon is now one of Balgores' leading and most consistent Property Consultants. Simon's warm and bubbly personality has proved to be very popular with all of our clients, which is reflected in his sales records and the feedback from our customers. Away from the office Simon is a dedicated father and husband and is a keen golfer.
