    Robert Love - Managing Director
    Before launching Abbey Sales and Lettings in 2012 (Now Balmforth Bury St Edmunds), Robert worked across Suffolk and Essex for well-known independent, and national estate agencies. With over fifteen years of experience, Robert is active in all parts of the business and prides himself on achieving the best attainable price and outcome for his clients. He is often found helping homeowners in considering all of their options, whether that be renting out or selling their homes.

    He also enjoys working with landlords in creating, or growing their property portfolios and maximising returns on their investment as well as helping them find and prepare property for let. When he isn't doing that, he is usually found working with landowners and developers in achieving planning permission and freeholders by managing developments for them.

    Outside of work Robert enjoys spending time with his family and plays tennis and taekwondo, enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family. He is also learning to play the drums - badly.

    Cayley has been part of the lettings team at Balmforth for some time indeed (20+ years). She has worked her way up to Lettings Manager and now leads the department. There is always a smile on Cayley's face and she is exceptionally well known and regarded in the town. Its impossible to walk down the High Street with her and not stop a few times to chat! With a huge knowledge of lettings, and of Haverhill, she is the Letting Agent in town to talk to. 

     Outside of work Cayley enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and has recently featured in an episode of Channel 4's long lost families, and so is currently spending most weekends getting to know her new family members!

    Mariann Jacklin - Inspections and Inventory Clerk
    Mariann is the newest member of the team, although she is a familiar face about town having recently worked at a High St Bank in Haverhill for some time. Mariann's role is to inspect all of our managed rental properties every few months to make sure all is well, as well as producing inventories at the start of tenancies, checking tenants in and then conducting the check-out at the end of the tenancy.

    Sue Love - Sales Admin and Sales Progressor
    Sue has been working at Abbey Sales and Lettings/Balmforth since its launch and has the most varied job role in the office. She is an invaluable member of the team and can be counted on to turn her hand to whatever needs doing, while also making sure the office runs like clockwork. 

    Sue also helps to liaise with solicitors and mortgage brokers to push sales that are agreed, through to exchange of contracts as quickly as possible. 

    Outside of work Sue enjoys watching ballet (don't start conversation on the subject unless you have time to spare), alongside opera and often travels to European capitals to watch live performances of both.
