    Richard Heath FARLA,FNAEA,CRLM - Lettings Director
    Richard is Residential Lettings Director for Barbers and oversees our successful Lettings and Property Management Department's. As a valued member of the team, Richard originally joined Barbers after leaving school and has worked as an auctioneer before specializing in Residential Property Lettings. Richard is a Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents, National Association of Estate Agents and has gained his certificate in Residential Lettings and Management through the National Association of Estate Agents. His experience have driven him to develop a strong team of Letting and Property Management specialists, who all have exceptional knowledge of their market place and the locations we operate, whilst maintain excellent customer levels of customer service
    What is your role at Barbers?I am the Director of Lettings, responsible for overseeing our wonderful letting and property management department. Having been letting properties in the area at Barbers for over 25 years, I am vastly experienced in dealing with all property types and enjoy nothing more than discussing the rental market with landlords and tenants throughout our network of offices, maintaining excellent levels of customer service.

    Jenni Cooper Lettings Valuer  - BA (Hons) FARLA, 
    Jenni joined Barbers in 2010 as Lettings Valuer & Negotiator after the takeover of Paul F Rowley where she had previously worked since 2005. Jenni is first point of contact for both landlords and tenants and on daily basis, dealing with registering applicants, arranging viewings, negotiating lets and progressing them to completion. Jenni has completed the prestigious National Federation of Property Professionals Level 4 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management in 2016 and as a result holds 'Fellow' grade membership of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Jenni is part of our Lettings Senior Management Team.
    What is your favourite food & drink? -Anything if it's while I'm sat in a beach bar on holiday!

    What do you like most about your job/working at Barbers? - The people I work with - and the variety along with helping landlords find the right tenant for their house and tenants their new homes. What is your role at Barbers Senior Lettings Valuer - dealing with all aspects of the lettings process for both landlords and tenants. Advising landlords on the legalities and practical aspects needed to letting their property, creating the property particulars showing the property off at its best, and dealing with applicants and future tenants throughout the application and move in process ensuring the landlord, property and tenant(s) are the perfect match! Also due to the length of time in the industry and with Barbers - I have experience in all aspects of the Lettings and Property Management process, so can find myself helping other departments if needed which keeps things varied and no 2 days the same.

    Hannah Ellis Lettings Valuer MARLA
    Hannah has been working for Barbers since 2008, originally as a Property Management Assistant before progressing to Property Management Coordinator and Lettings Negotiator and admin assistant.Hannah is a qualified ARLA member having passed the NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.
    My RoleI am one of the Senior Members of the lettings team, my role is mainly as Senior Valuer for our Market Drayton Branch but I deal with lots of different aspects of the lettings day to day running including helping our other branches.
    What is your favourite food & drink?I love tapas style food and a good cheese board, this normally goes down well with a glass of red wine or G&T!
    Do you have any pets?We have a gorgeous dog called Buddy who is a big part of our family.
    Where is your favourite holiday destination?Anywhere with a relaxing beach and lots of sun maybe a cocktail or two as well.
    What do you like most about your job/working at Barbers?I really enjoy meeting new clients and building great relationships with our clients old and new. Also having the chance to deal with all different types of properties gives me lots of inspiration for my own home

    Abby joined the company in November 2015 having been abroad travelling after working in logistics.     Debbie Salamino Lettings Administrator  - MARLA
    Debbie joined Barbers in 2009 as a Lettings Administrator in the Lettings Department. She deals with landlords and tenants on a day to day basis, both on the telephone and in person and deals with all aspects of the administration process involved in setting up tenancy agreements.Debbie has completed the NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management and is ARLA qualified.

    Aimee Latham - Lettings Negotiator
    Aimee joined Barbers in early 2022 after a previous customer service role, as a Lettings Negotiator and is the first point of contact for tenants. 
      What do you enjoy doing when you're not at work?When I'm not at work I enjoy play dates with my little boy, spa days and bottomless brunching! 
      When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?When I was a child I wanted to be a builder because I was OBSESSED with Bob the Builder! 
      Where is your favourite place locally/In Shropshire/Cheshire/Your Local Town or Village?My favourite place locally is the Quarry in Shrewsbury. I enjoy the walk through the dingle and going to the boathouse looking over the river.

      What is your role at Barbers?Scheduling and leading viewings, negotiating between vendor and tenant in order to reach an agreement, as well as all the pre-tenancy checks.

    Lindsey Owen BA(Hons) MARLA - Administrator
    Lindsey joined Barbers in January 2016. where she originally started on the front desk as the Lettings Negotiator where she completed NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management and became ARLA qualified. In early 2020, She returned to work after maternity leave and moved over to the lettings admin team.   
    What is your favourite food & drink? - I love a good rare steak and I'm partial to a glass of wine! Neither of which I could have when pregnant - it's a long 9 months! 
    Where is your favourite holiday destination? I've been lucky enough to travel to many destinations over the world, but Las Vegas is by far my favourite, it's amazing! 
    What is your favourite film? Bridesmaids is my favourite film - I can watch it again and again and it always has me in stitches!

    Lucy Holland MARLA- Administrator
    Lucy is a Lettings Administrator in our Market Drayton Branch. Lucy has been with Barbers since 2008. Before Barbers, she worked in the beauty/cosmetic industry for a number of years.
    What do you like most about working at Barbers? What I like most about working at barbers is it feels like my extended family! Having worked at Barbers for some years now (apart from a short break to raise my youngest child) I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. We are a brilliant team here and always support each other through everything.
    What is your job role?My job role is to assist with the preparation of Tenancy Agreements for new Lets and general administration of the Lettings department this includes all of our offices. Throughout my years at Barbers, I have worked within the Property Management team and as a Lettings Negotiator at Market Drayton.

    Molly Stretton - Property Manager
    Molly's role involves arranging maintenance work, rent collecting and keeping the landlords up to date with regulations i.e. gas checks, EPCs, smoke alarms.She joined Barbers in 2018 after a number of years working as Head Groom for an eventing yard near Whitchurch. Molly is a Hodnet girl and enjoys a trip to The Bear after work! She prides herself on excellent service to ensure that her landlords and tenants can be stress free.
    What is your role at Barbers?I am a property manager and cover the Newport and Telford area. I deal with property maintenance and ensure landlords and tenants are happy with their home.
    Do you have any pets? I have 2 horses - Ruby and Tigga. There very cute!
    When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?A page 3 model and if that failed I wanted my own tea rooms to serve people tea and cake.

    Lara McBride  Home Inspector 
    Lara has worked for Barbers since June 2022. She originally trained as an Architectural Technician then moved on the work in Local Authorities throughout Shropshire. She had various roles, but they were all property related. Being our Property Inspector Lara gets to visit all our tenants living in a managed property & produces very high standard bi-annual reports for out landlords Having always lived in Shropshire she knows her way around the area but there is still the odd property that proves tricky to find!
    What is your favourite food & drink?Food: White pudding suppers and rowies, I once drove over 800 miles for the weekend just to eat both and bring a supply home! Drink: coffee
    What do you like most about your job/working at Barbers?Meeting different people every day, travelling around our beautiful area and being part of a great team.
    What do you enjoy doing when you're not at work?Visiting my daughter or spending time at the beach.
    When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?A vet until I realised where my arm would need to go when it came to cows or horses!
    What is your role at Barbers?Property Inspector - assessing the general condition of managed rental properties, reporting findings to the wonderful Property Managers and advising tenants on ways to look after their properties.

    Joshua Hodgkiss
    Property Management & Lettings Assistant

    Josh joined Barbers in February 2023, as letting and property management assistant. He helps with all aspects of lettings which includes taking applications, arranging viewings and then towards the end of the week also help the property management team where he helps to collect rents, speaking with landlords and tenants and arrange any maintenance issues and essential jobs. 
      What is an interesting fact about yourself? I love football! I was over the moon when I heard Barbers were doing the fantasy football league. My aim is to overtake the Lettings Director Richard Heath by the end of this season! I also had trials to play football at Shrewsbury town. 
      What is your favourite food & drink? Pizza - a Dominos on a Saturday night when Liverpool are playing is my perfect evening in. Do you have any pets? I have a rabbit called Coco 
      Where is your favourite holiday destination? Rome - I first went with school and I hope to visit again very soon. 
      What is your favourite film? Shutter Island, Inception or The Prestige 
      What do you like most about your job working at Barbers? The endless supply of cakes is brilliant and being local it helps I know our area so well. 
      What makes Barbers different? The people, it's a great team to work with. 
      What do you enjoy doing when you're not at work? I enjoy going to football matches with my Uncle and if I'm not then watching football at home. 
      When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? To stay with the theme a footballer! Unfortunately, my boots are now hung up. I still say I would have made it if it wasn't for my dodgy knee.

    Jacqui Edwards - Inventories - ARLA Inventories
    Jacqui joined Barbers in 2014, having previously worked as a Real Estate Agent in Dubai and more recently at a local bank. Her main roles include the preparation inventories prior to the commencement of a tenancy and then conducting an outgoing inspection at the end, before negotiating deposit releases. Jacqui lives in Market Drayton but enjoyed her time in Dubai and would like to be back overlooking the sea one day!
