    James Dear - Lettings Branch Manager

    Having been a key member of the lettings department since its inception in 2008, James Dear has watched his determined efforts as Lettings Valuer come to fruition with CJ Hole becoming one of the leading lettings agents in the area in a relatively short space of time.

    Rather than taking his foot off the pedal, James is now keen to help the portfolio grow further. His extensive knowledge of new media allows him to find every potential lead and he uses his negotiation skills to turn those opportunities into new instructions.

    His previous experience as a sales negotiator for CJ Hole and his lifelong knowledge of the city has helped him achieve an impressive conversion rate of properties he values, a critical skill in this tough market. His success is due largely to his aptitude for valuing properties correctly.

    Crucially, James has unwavering belief in his company's brand and the service they can offer to clients, which is transferred to potential clients.

    Becky Hunt - Lettings Manager/Co-ordinator

    With eight years' experience in retail progressing to area manager level, Becky Holland was more than capable of nurturing the fledgling lettings department to a successful, respected business when she joined CJ Hole as Lettings Manager in 2009.

    She has finely honed skills in customer service, communication, organisation and accounts, all of which are vital in running a bustling lettings business.

    Her years in retail have also given Becky a good understanding of the importance of knowing the product, so she and her team get to know every property on their books and make sure they deal with any tenant requests prior to them moving in.

    This valuable retail background coupled with her knowledge of the area gleaned from living in Bristol her entire life, gave Becky the ability to set up a smoothly run and productive department, where each team member understands their position and shares her desire for the business to succeed.

    Getting into the property industry was a lifelong ambition for Becky and is highlighted through her unwavering desire to give clients the best service possible.

    She says: "I've built up a good relationship with my clients and they now know I'm always at the end of the phone if they need me for anything. Plus they are confident that I will deal with any issues they may have."

    Chris Slater - Negotiator

    Chris joined Cj Hole in 2011 as a part of an apprenticeship scheme. He is in the final stages of completing his NVQ Level 2 in Sales and Marketing.

    Chris ensures that Cj Hole's rental applicants are booked in to view the most suitable properties for their needs.

    He is vigilant and hardworking, attributes that help him maintain the smooth running and organisation of the rental viewings.

    Chris is a keen skier and enjoys playing football in his spare time.

    Luke Goodliffe - Negotiator

    Luke joined Cj Hole straight after finishing his A-Levels in 2011.

    He is currently in the final stages of completing his apprenticeship and will soon have a NVQ Level 2 in customer service.

    Luke is responsible for showing applicants round Cj Hole's rental properties. The role requires a friendly approach which Luke excels at. He is always enthusiastic and willing to help customers however he can.

    Outside of work Luke enjoys going to the gym.

      We have just used C.J Hole (Southville branch) to let out our property after a failed attempt (not by C.J Hole!) to sell it some months earlier. From the start they were very clear in their services, prices, marketing strategies etc, and we genuinely feel they did as much as they could to let our house for us. Their initial valuation of the property was unfortunately a bit too optimistic, but this is perhaps a reflection of the current state of the property market and economic climate rather than personal error. They more than earned their "tenant find" fee as they conducted a high volume of viewings at the property, and when we eventually found the right tenants the whole process was very smooth. They also include sorting out the Utilities for you (very helpful!), even as part of their "tenant find" service, which we weren't offered by any other local agent. This was our first time in renting a house out and finding tenants, so we probably pestered C.J Hole with more calls and emails than was necessary, but they were professional and helpful throughout the process and always quick with a helpful, polite response, and keen to assist.
