    Carringtons was opened in 2006 by Paul Nicholls and Keith Angell. We're located in a modern office on Commercial Road, Swindon. If you fancy a chat about your property why not pop in and see one of our friendly staff, you might even get a cuppa.

    We have over 800 happy landlords and tenants in the Swindon area and  we're responsible for a truly diverse range of properties, from studio apartments to 5 bed luxury houses.

    In 2011 we were voted Best Estate Agent in Swindon by the readers of the Swindon Evening Advertiser and also won the Service With A Smile award for our customer service. I reckon we would win it again but the Adver hasn't run it since then.

    All administration is carried out inhouse to enable us to build a working relationship with both the tenant and the landlord and you have a dedicated point of contact should you wish to discuss any issues.

    Property inspections are carried out by our dedicated property inspector to ensure that your biggest investment is being looked after in a way that you would be happy with.

    All tenants over 18 are credit checked, previous landlord checked and work referenced to enable us to get a clear picture of their past.

    Advertising is done through the Rightmove, Zoopla & Prime Location site's and other numerous high ranking websites, plus our office provides a focal point for people doing it the old fashioned way.

    Renting a property through Carringtons is simple.

    View it, like it, pay a referencing fee, let us check you out, pay deposit and rent and move in with one of our dedicated letting specialists.

    We produce a comprehensive Schedule and Condition Report and take numerous digital photos to ensure that everyone knows exactly what the property was like when you moved in.

    Your deposit is lodged with one of the government approved deposit protection agencies and returned once everyone is happy at the end of the tenancy.

      Our Commercial Road team has over 50 years of estate agency experience. They've been through good times, quiet times and in the middle times and are always happy to pass on their knowledge and experience in order to advise you on what is probably the best way to do things.

      We use full colour brochures to market your property and include all the relevant details a prospective purchaser may be looking for. This information is available immediately to anyone who enquires about your property through the online property portals, we can also pass it on to interested parties via email and in person via our office on Commercial Road.

      We believe that the pictures we take of your property are one of the main selling tools that you have available, after all a great feature can be made to look decidedly average if the picture used is dark and dingy or taken from the wrong angle. We will therefore review all the pictures that are taken and only use the ones we believe to be worthy of marketing your property. If we need to we will return to the property to re-take any photos that we're not happy with.

      We advertise your property on all of the main property portals plus the Evening Advertiser and our Commercial Road office. We have experienced staff on hand to accompany prospective buyers around your property as we would not expect you to have to do this yourself.

      We promise to keep in touch with you to let you know what's happening, who's seen it and what they thought of it and we will of course let you know as soon as someone makes an offer.
