    About Henley on Thames

    Henley on Thames is an attractive market town located on the border of South Oxfordshire. With the River Thames running through the town there is plenty of character and waterside beauty to be enjoyed. Both the M4 and M40 provide great road links for the town, connecting it to the UK's motorway network. London is just 30 miles away and Reading just 10 miles, so both can easily be reached by car or rail, making Henley on Thames a fantastic place to call home for those that commute. The town's railway station provides connections to London Paddington with a direct service and the nearby Twyford station allows connections through to Reading and Oxford.

    There is plenty to do in Henley on Thames, especially in the summer months when it plays host to the famous Henley Royal Regatta, a five day knockout rowing race. You can also spend hours wandering down the Thames Path, which stretches from Henley to Windsor, and take in the beautiful riverside views. If you are after some retail therapy or a bite to eat there are plenty of independent shops, local cafes and restaurants dotted throughout the town centre.
