    The good name of Chattertons has been established since 1893 and we are extremely proud of our roots and love to talk about our history, we have a small selection of historical pieces from our more recent past, dispayed at our New Eltham office.

    The business was acquired by Michael Healey (FNAEA) in 1981 and his vision to offer great service from a company that could be trusted is as strong today as the day he set out to continue the story of Chattertons.

    These days the business of Estate Agency has changed so much particularly with the inception of the internet which has made the process of buying, selling and renting exciting, easy and instantaneous.

    Mike acquired Chattertons in 1981 and has made his mark clearly on the already strong brand which was established in 1893. He has extensive knowledge of the industry together with extremely strong local knowledge and what Mike doesn't know about these areas isn't worth knowing.

    Doug has been an Estate Agent for 26 years and has a wealth of experience and understanding of the housing market. Joining Chattertons in April 2008 at the New Eltham branch he has helped to grow the business which has improved year on year. Great service should not be hoped for it should be expected and that is what Doug strives to deliver.
