Courtney Green was established by Nick Courtney and Steven Greenfield in 1988. We offer our clients a wide range of services including Estate Agency, Planning, Land and New Home, Property Lettings and Residential Management.

For total peace of mind we are members of the Property Ombudsman scheme, The National Association of Estate Agents, The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), The National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) and The Association of Managing Agents (ARMA) and abide by their respective rules and codes of conduct.

Residential Sales

The Residential Sales department is headed up by Co-Director Steven Greenfield. The Sales Team consists of Andrew Bowling MNAEA (Residential Sales Manager) who has over thirty years experience in the local housing market in a senior role, alongside Alex Bethell (Senior Negotiator/Valuer) and Theresa Rogers (Senior Negotiator) both with over thirteen years’ experience of the local market with enthusiastic and tenacious contributions from Brooke Underwood (Sales Negotiator). The team is well supported with our excellent Secretary and genuine “all rounder” Jill Simmons, weekenders Jane Anscomb, Ruth Scheller and Julia Cripps who each bring their experience and enthusiasm to the team.

When prospective sellers first approach Courtney Green we offer a “no obligation” appointment for one of our experienced valuers to visit their property to discuss the value which would be based on comparable evidence of similar homes that have sold in the vicinity. We will also provide marketing advice and details of our fees and terms of business.

Unlike many estate agents, Courtney Green does not ask its clients to enter into a contract that ties the seller in for a given period, which can sometimes be more than 16 weeks! We have no minimum period whatsoever.

Due to advances in technology, we are now able to produce high quality, full colour sales particulars, specifically designed to show the property in the best light possible but not to the point where the details actually look better than the house! Our aim is to present every property honestly and as they say: "It's the details that count and you never get a second chance to make a first impression."

Planning, Land and New Homes

This department is headed up by our Director Stephen Boyes-Lee FNAEA. They provide services to Housebuilders and Developers along with private home owners. From planning applications to providing detailed analysis of potential development project and the sales of New Homes, we have the expertise and experience in this field.

Residential Lettings and Management

Our established Lettings Department is run by our Lettings Manager Jonathan Evans along with Assistant Manager Robert Knapp supported by Dan Batchelor, Bradley Smith and Karen Lynn, with an experienced administration team consisting of Julie Simmonds and Mandy Hallet.

The lettings team has many years experience in Letting and Property Management and look after over 650 properties in and around the Horsham area. We deal in all varieties of property from town centre studio flats to rural country houses and cottages, all Landlords have the benefit of dealing with a company who are a fully bonded member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS).

Residential Management

The Management Department is a full member of The Association of Managing Agents (ARMA) and is run by our Managing Director Nick Courtney MNAEA with Sarah Cornelius, Chris Spoard, Phil Maggs and Julie Smith. Between them, they provide strategic management and scheduled maintenance of numerous apartment blocks and private developments in and around the local area. We provide a dedicated and experienced solution to the needs of our clients, many of whom are resident within the buildings themselves and have been previously "let down" by their managing agents.
