      The area was originally built up to provide housing for workers as Sheffield industry grew, hence it is largely made up of terraced housing with the additions of different housing types built in small developments over the subsequent years and plenty of houses with lots of character.

      The main road through Chapeltown is really packed full of character with a great mixture of local independent and traditional businesses. Lots of other traditional businesses and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Access to Railway network, Meadowhall and the M1 make it a great commuter location.
