  Simple, genuine and honest approach

  Moving with DW Smith was the most effortless encounter I have ever had with an estate agents. I have moved house 6 times in the past 12 years and David Smith and his colleagues made this move as stress free as a house move can possibly be. David obviously ensures his staff are trained and experienced in customer satisfaction because every single one of them were prepared to go that extra mile for myself and my partner. When we found our ideal home, our house was not even on the market. David showed us around the house we were hoping to buy and I was so refreshed by his honesty and genuine disposition that I asked him to value our house and place it on the market. Less than 48 hours and 5 separate viewings later, he had sold our property and had secured our offer on the house we wished to purchase. As we were expecting our first child approximately 8 weeks after commencing the purchase and selling procedure, we were needless to say concerned that we would not have enough time to move prior to the birth. David and his team knew our wishes and concerns and from the outset worked tirelessly to ensure all parties moved expediently and within agreed timescales. At every step of the way we received regular contact from the DW Smith office to keep us up to date with the progress, and DW Smith made sure they were kept informed by the firms of solicitors involved. At times there were hold ups, DW Smith were honest about the delays and the reasons why, rather than avoiding the prospect of delivering unwelcome news, even though the delays were out of their hands. This simple, genuine and honest approach made us feel involved, not out of the loop, and we were able to make realistic plans. We moved home 5 days before our daughter was born. I would certainly use DW Smith if I were ever to move home again and would wholeheartedly recommend DW Smith to any other prospective house buyers of sellers.
