    David Mooney, Regional Manager West
    With 16 years experience in estate agency, David has acted in a senior capacity with a number of established practitioners in the West of Scotland. Educated at Balfron High School, he went on to obtain a BA (Hons) degree in marketing and later a post-graduate diploma in surveying. David's arrival ushers in a new era for the West of Scotland operation of DJ Alexander. Although already recognised for providing an efficient service and commitment to client care, this company is aware of the need to adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. David says: "Even with the benefit of sophisticated technology, a property sales and letting service needs to be people-focused and deliver good, old-fashioned value for money. We will be providing a tailor-made service for every client - not one based on 'one size fits all'. Good communications will be a key component of our strategy and I am looking forward to meeting established clients and welcoming new ones."

    Clare Greig, Assistant Office Manager
    Originally from Edinburgh, Claire started with DJ Alexander in 2004. She progressed over the years working in various departments dealing with accounts, maintenance, leases, property assistance and pay-ins. With this experience she became a real asset to the company, particularly when the legislation and market changed. Having a real passion for property and a career she truly embraces, Clare jumped at the chance to move to Glasgow in 2013 to become the assistant branch manager. Calling Glasgow her new home she moved to the Merchant City and is relishing the buzz and culture of the City and states that the Glaswegians have made her feel right at home. She has got to know the City inside out dealing with a high number of quality properties throughout the West coast. She states that the key to her success is understanding her client's expectations and providing a personal and understanding service at every level.

    Lee Hardy, Property Manager
    Lee started his career as a professional footballer, however after an injury, changed path and found a career in property to be just as rewarding and competitive as life as a sportsman. Having now worked in the Glasgow Letting industry for seven years he has proven himself to be a highly driven individual and is highly in tune with trends, rental values, legislation and the City. As a well-known and respected property manager he has a catalogue of contacts and is a skilled negotiator and communicator at all levels. His main responsibilities involve providing knowledgeable market appraisals detailing current rental trends, legislation responsibilities and avenues to maximise rental yields. He also is passionate about seeing every job through to the end and takes a hands on role with viewings, inspections and liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all parties concerned.

    Philip McNab, Checkout Manager
    Originally from a building and construction background, Philip honed his technical skills working on and managing the refurbishment and maintenance of a wide range of properties and different forms of commercial projects. Joining D.J Alexander in 2011, Philip was instantly identified as the ideal candidate to head up the checkout department, using his technical skills to resolve property issues quickly and efficiently in a manner that people without his background might not understand or be able to identify. As a hands on check out manager he inspects every property at the end of each tenancy, liaising with tenants and landlords to resolve any maintenance issues and making any recommendations that would prolong the life span of the income or even possibly enhance it. He says that the key to his role is to provide the best information and service that allows our tenants to remain comfortable and our landlords in the knowledge their properties are being well looked after.

    Rosie Shannon, Maintenance
    Even though Rosie has only been with the company for a short time, she has progressed quickly and has been promoted to our maintenance department resolving issues as soon as possible in a friendly and helpful manner. She relishes building the fantastic relationships required to assist the tenants, landlords and contractors alike. 'After graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree in Music Business, I starting working at DJ Alexander, welcomed in as receptionist. I have been learning quickly from other team members who have been working here for a number of years .Their vast knowledge of the property industry has helped me progress rapidly and it seems every day is different with new challenges which keeps it very interesting and I am really enjoying it.'

    David Sullivan, Property Assistant
    After studying architecture and having a background in customer service and relations. David is focused and confident in his ability to provide a first class level of service in all aspects of the business, from rental enquiries through to maintenance works. As Assistant Property Manager, he is responsible for preparing detailed inventories using our bespoke iPad software that prepares a fully comprehensive document detailing the property, its contents, condition and with photographic evidence - this is invaluable when it comes to dealing with deposits and dilapidations. David is also an all-rounder, also getting involved in inspections, arranging viewings and dealing with maintenance issues. He believes that high levels of communication and service to both new and existing clients are paramount within the property letting sector. He considers these values to be central to the business in order to provide the best possible experience for all of our clients.

    Omar Khan, Property Assistant
    A real property enthusiast, Omar has proved himself to be a great team player and fully enjoys getting involved with all parts of the business. He discovered his passion for property at an early stage during his BA Honours degree in Property Management and Valuation. Thereafter, he joined DM Hall as a trainee surveyor and is qualified as a domestic energy assessor. He joined D.J. Alexander in 2014 as a property assistant and enjoys the variety of his position. His tasks mainly include compiling reports based on his in-depth inspections, thereafter resolving any issues in an efficient and timely manner so that landlords can be sure their properties are in good hands.

    Megan Casey, Property Assistant
    After leaving school Megan worked for an Edinburgh firm of Solicitors in their cash room. Joining D J Alexander in 2008 she moved into our accounts department until moving to our Glasgow office in 2013. Megan is a complete all-rounder but mainly focuses on administration, lease signing and maintenance. She is a very approachable individual who is always happy to help out wherever she can and believes good customer service is the most important part of our business.
