David Ball Agencies is a privately owned independent estate agency which offers both residential and commercial sales with residential lettings and holiday lettings.
We are a fully bonded member of the National Association of Estate Agents and members of the National Approved Letting Scheme, we are also a Founder member of the Ombudsman Scheme for Estate Agents.
Our main road offices are situated in East Street and offer state of the art computer and digital technology.
The agency was founded in 1992 by David Ball and has expanded since then into Residential Sales and Lettings together with Newquay's largest holiday lettings department.
Our hours of business are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am – 12.00pm on Saturdays. Out of hours appointments can be made upon request.

David started his estate agency career in Newquay in 1976 as a trainee negotiator. Being Cornish and having lived in Newquay since 1960, David has seen many changes in estate agency and in 1992 David Ball Commercial was launched. David is the senior partner and oversees the business whilst spending all his agency time within the Commercial department. Having dealt with commercial property since 1985 the agency has long been Newquay’s leading commercial specialists, dedicated to dealing with a complicated area of the property market which demands full commitment of time and energy linked with knowledge and experience. David is both a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and a Fellow of The Institution of Business Agents which has now been taken over by the National Association of Estate Agents.

Anne Ball MNAEA

Anne has worked in estate agency since 1987 and in 1992 started David Ball Commercial with David. With over 10 years experience in residential lettings, she oversees this established department and now heads Newquay's largest independent holiday lettings agency. As partner, Anne’s responsibilities include overall administration and the agencies accounts.

Richard Holder MNAEA

Since joining the company in 1997, Richard was made a partner in 2004 and is responsible for running the land and new homes section within the Newquay office which is the largest dedicated department of its kind in Newquay. Richard has a wealth of experience in the local market, having started his career in Newquay estate agency in 1988. Richard is an affiliated member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

Louise Cooke

Louise joined the Holiday Lettings team in 2007 and is the driving force in running the department on a day to day basis, dealing with sales and marketing strategies, offering support to all landlords, taking reservation enquiries and works alongside Partner Anne Ball.

Sheila Rowlands

Sheila has recently joined the team at David Ball Agencies. Sheila has lived in Newquay with her husband David and three daughters and a grandaughter since 1980 and has been in Agency since 1987. Having started her career with Lampshire Pass Barton the company was then sold on to Black Horse, Bradford and Bingley and finally to Countrywide. Sheila comes with a wealth of residential sales experience and good local knowledge.
