The following are important points to consider when deciding whether to rent a property through DEA.
*Two references must be supplied, these are to be from your current employer and bank credit reference (if you’re self employed we would ask for a reference from your accountant). In some instance we may also request a reference from a previous landlord and / or character reference.
*A security deposit will be required and is payable in advance. This deposit will be returned on termination of the tenancy agreement, subject to any deductions.
*The rental period will normally be for a minimum of six months, other terms are available by negotiation.
*Rent is payable monthly in advance by standing order / cheque by post / cash to be paid at the office which ever is convenient.
* Where DEA is not responsible for the management of the property, all deposit monies will be forwarded to the landlord, and he/she will be responsible for the monies thereafter.
THE FIRST STEP TO YOUR NEW HOME:

Once you found a property, you will need to pay a holding fee to secure your tenancy (subject to satisfactory references and signing a tenancy agreement).
A check in date will be set for you. You will be asked to agree and sign an inventory and schedule of condition (if the property is furnished) once you have moved in. All utilities will be notified by DEA and meter readings taken for, electric and water. Telephone connection is the responsibility of the tenant to have connected.
