paragraphSELL WITH US AT THE GREAT NORTH PROPERTY AUCTION
The Great North Property Auction was founded and created at the end of 2012, by Dowen Estate Agents, two other estate agents and Newcastle based auctioneers IAM-SOLD Ltd.
Since then the business has grown enormously with many other estate agents having also been welcomed to enter their properties.
At Dowen we decided to go one step further and introduce Great North Property Auction stores, each with bespoke identities, to help further promote the properties we take to auction.
Along with these stores each of our other branches offer full auction facilities
In all locations our auction properties are displayed in a unique auction themed environment under The Great North Property Auction banner.
We operate using the modern method of auction which allows buyers to purchase with cash or a mortgage coupled with on-line and auction room bidding facilities.
Since the end of 2012 we have sold over 500 properties at The Great North Property Auction. We can sell yours.
For a free no obligation auction valuation simply contact your nearest Dowen branch or auction store. We will gladly call at your property and discuss how we feel it will perform at The Great North Property Auction.
paragraphWHY SELL AT AUCTION ?
The Opportunity To Sell Your Property Quickly
The pricing strategy we employ creates increased buyer interest which enhances the opportunity to sell your property quickly
The Security Of A Reserve Price + Buyer Deposit
We will offer your property with a reserve (minimum acceptable) price, agreed with you, so it will never be sold for anything less than you are happy with. Once you accept a bid, you have the security of knowing that the buyer will pay a substantial, generally non-refundable, deposit meaning a sale fall through is much less likely
Exchange Of Contracts In 28 Days
Your buyer will be expected to exchange contracts within 28 days of a sale contract being received by his solicitors
No Estate Agency Fees To Pay
Your buyer pays our fees by way of a reservation fee (also known as a buyers premium) meaning you have none to pay - unless you choose to pay fees yourself
paragraphHOW DOES IT WORK ?
First of all..... it's very easy
Initially our valuer will agree with you a reserve price below which we will never sell your property without your permission
Next we immediately place your property on-line and into our internet auction which works similar to e-Bay
At the same time we will advertise your property 24-7 on the internet, in branch & in the paper
Buyers can make bids direct to our auction head office in Newcastle, in this branch or via the internet
If you accept an on-line bid, the auction will be stopped and the buyer will pay a deposit to secure your property
He will then be expected to exchange contracts within 28 days of a sale contract being received by his solicitors
If we get lots of buyer interest, we will take your property to a live auction room with an auctioneer where buyers can bid in person
It's that simple and it sells most properties fast
