Newcastle upon Tyne - city centre
Over the past few years there has been a vast amount of new build and redevelopment in the city with many buildings which were previously used for commercial purposes now being renovated into living accommodation. Some of the developments Adderstone Group and/or Exchange have been involved with and continue to manage apartments in include:
In 2006, the Adderstone Group converted Waterloo House, a former Victorian Warehouse, into 31 beautiful apartments each of which are completely unique and incorporate many original features. Located next to Rehearsal Rooms, the apartments are set in an excellent location and would suit a variety of people with its very close proximity to both Newcastle and Northumbria universities and access to the city centre. They are located in the developing area of Grainger town, a two minute walk from Newcastle Central Station and the city's metro links.
Completed in 2006, this new build development comprises a mix of one to five bedroom apartments, with some underground parking available. Located in the heart of the city centre, Rialto is the ideal location for students as it is within a few minutes walking distance to both universities.

Gateshead Railway Club

Heaton is an ideal location for both the student and professional rental market. Located just outside the city centre, it has good bus and metro links and the accommodation offers excellent value for money.
Durham City offers varying attractions such as its cathedral and castle. The university is one of England's top five and the city has a varying range of properties which cater for both professionals and students. We manage St Hild's Lane which was a derelict house in Durham City's conservation area. It is a mix of both renovated flats and purpose built apartments and ideally located for students studying at the colleges of St Hild and St Bede which are right on the doorstep. These flats also offer great links to the city centre, either by car or on foot. An excellent bonus is the free off street parking which is also included with this property.
