    We are a family owned and run business specialising in the sale, survey and valuation of residential property. Established in 1991 by Roger Follwell we now have 3 town centre offices in the traditional market towns of Newcastle-under-lyme, Stone and Market Drayton.

    The business has been built on word of mouth recommendations and we are extremely proud to be known for a high quality service, attention to detail whilst also providing value for money - so proud in fact we put our name to it.

    We have small loyal dedicated teams in each office focussed on provided a first class service to vendors and purchasers alike. They have years of combined experience in the industry and are always on hand to guide you through the process.

    Home Sweet Home or House of Horrors?

    When buying a home do you know what you are letting yourself in for? It may have problems you will not be aware of, but which a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is trained to look for and report on.  Before you commit make sure you have the RICS HomeBuyer Report to help you:

    • Make an informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property
    • Decide what is a reasonable price to pay for the property
    • Take account of any repairs or replacements the property needs
    • Consider if you need any further advice before exchanging contracts

    You may not require such a comprehensive Survey as detailed above, in which case we can offer a more basic level of inspection and report which focuses on the value of the property. This is more appropriate for modern properties built in the last 10-15 years. We can also provide a certificate of value for other other purposes such as Inheritance Tax (Probate), Matrimonial, Capital Gains Tax.

    Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1971, Roger has spent his entire working life within the residential property sector in North Staffordshire and as such had unrivalled experience and knowledge. Roger deals with the more specialized aspects of professional work.

    Tom Follwell BSc(Hons) MRICS
    Tom joined the family firm in 2005 changing his career path from Accountancy and successfully qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2007. He is responsible for most of the professional Survey & Valuation work along with the day-to-day running of the business.

    John Follwell MNAEA
    John started his career in Estate Agency in 2003 having previously trained as a Cordon Bleu Chef. Since joining the firm he has gained valuable training and experience in the property sector. He is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor able to produce EPCs.

    Mark Ingram
    Mark has over 20 years experience as an Estate Agent in the Newcastle area, and joined Follwells in 1998. He has a unique style as firm but fair negotiator and valuer and has developed an excellent reputation with many vendors using him time and again. Mark has sole responsibility for residential sales in the Newcastle office.

    Michelle has worked in Estate Agency throughout North Staffordshire and Shropshire since 1994. Her extremely professional approach continues to generate successful results for vendors.
