Gascoigne Halman is a privately owned company established in 1990 with the aim to excel in all aspects of property transfer. The company has 18 offices specialising in the sale of residential properties in South Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak, taking in some of the area’s most desirable property hot spots and beautifully scenic locations.
Lymm office is run by Bobby Shahlavi who has over 15 years experience in the residential property market. Backed by a team of qualified and highly experienced staff members: Tracy, Paula, Sandra, Bernie, Joyce and Celia. The company also has a large Lettings Department, which is available in each of its branch locations. In addition to our core services the company also has a Survey Department and a Private Finance department which is directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority and therefore able to offer truly independent advice.
Over the years we have invested heavily in new technology to ensure that our teams are able to offer up to date and relevant sales and lettings information on all properties available across the Gascoigne Halman network of offices. More recently we have introduced i-phone and smart-phone applications to enable our website to be accessed from mobiles.
The picturesque village of Lymm today retains much of its character and charm and yet offers all the benefits of modern living. The village consists of a variety of small shops, boutiques and coffee shops, a supermarket and a weekly traditional street market held every Thursday. In and around the village are a variety of restaurants, bars, and inns making Lymm a notable place to eat out.
The village also attracts a great many boating, fishing and walking enthusiasts as the Bridgewater Canal runs through the centre of the village and forms part of the ‘Cheshire Ring’ which is a very popular route for narrow boats.
In recent years the village has welcomed many new residents but still retains its village identity and community spirit. For those needing to commute Lymm is conveniently situated with easy access to the M6/M56 motorways and Manchester Airport is only a short drive away.
