    Recently formed from an existing business, refreshed and raring to go. We are a company that aims to offer customers in all aspect of our business a professional and personal approach. All of the Directors are Devon born & bred and have over 30 years experience in the sale, rental and commercial sector of the property market. Our knowledge of the local area is exceptional and we would like to think that we are prepared to go out of our way to make your purchase as smooth as possible from the moment you place your property on the market with us to the day of completion and collection of the keys to your new home.

    The Directors have worked with a number of the large developers such as Bellway Homes, Persimmon, Barratts & Millwood Homes and alongside many of the smaller more local developers. "We aim to build long lasting relationships with customers so that we know what they expect and desire from us at every stage of their development, move or buy to let investment" state Deborah Squire, Director of Godfrey Short & Squire.

    We are experienced in all aspects of sales from one bedroom apartments through to country estates with large amounts of land, equally we manage a high level of local properties for landlords that may have only one buy to let investment through to landlords with portfolios of properties, we pride ourselves on having a very short period of time between tenants for all of our managed stock and rent all ranges of property from small one person properties to larger country houses.

    NIck Godfrey, Director

    Raised in Okehampton and having been in Estate Agency throughout the majority of his working career. Starting as a trainee for General Accident Property Services and working up to being one of the youngest managers in Fulfords history. Nick lives in Okehampton with his wife Rachel a local nurse at Okehampton Hospital and his two young children. "I love my job and what it entails as every day is different, being your own boss certainly has its rewards, although I do get less time to play golf and watch rugby (which I am sure my wife does not mind!!!)

    Deborah Squire, Director

    Born, raised & still farming in Devon! With management experience in the insurance industry, then a great introduction to estate agency with a local (corporate estate agent) considerable experience was gained by Deborah. After this training Deborah realised that independent estate agency was definitely the way forward. Farming with her husband Reggie who is a shepherd and their two children life is certainly busy. Spare time is taken up with various sporting activities through her daughter and son and involved with a number of local committees. Holidays and travel are important to family life, although it's not always easy when you are your own boss!

    Born in Plymouth, now living on the edge of Dartmoor with his wife and two boys, I have over 26 years experience in commercial business and extensive links with the business community within the South West.     Born and raised locally, Charlotte is a very conscientious member of the team. Having previously worked for GSS for her work experience placement, the Directors saw her potential and offered her a placement as an apprentice. In Charlotte's spare time she enjoys watching films and reading amongst her many hobbies, one of which is baking so watch out Nigella!

    You will rarely meet someone who loves there job more than Alison! Dartmoor, born and raised, Alison has lived and worked around the National Park all of her career. Estate agency is a relatively new role for her, although she is very experienced in the building trade as she has renovated several properties with her (builder) husband, Steve.
