    Famous as a Spa town in the 17th Century, the town has a wealth of excellent schooling, restaurants, shopping and communication links within the existing area and London beyond. Epsom has an enviable reputation as being voted one of the most popular places in the UK to live, regularly appearing in the top ten in various nationwide surveys.

    The pedestrianised centre of the town is bustling on market days and in addition has an interesting Sunday farmers market once a month. The Ashley Centre is the hub of the town and is home to many High Street names. Cafe culture is well represented and the mix of local restaurants and historic public houses offer a wide choice for the local population.

    Sporting and leisure facilities abound, in particular the renowned RAC Golf and Country Club a few minutes drive from the town centre. The well known David Lloyd Centre, Virgin Active and the Rainbow Centre to name but a few, provide a wide range of sports and leisure activities for the whole family. There are various clubs and parks offering cricket, tennis and football facilities.

    Epsom mainline station offers an excellent service to Waterloo, Victoria and London Bridge. Junction 9 of the M25 gives access to both Heathrow and Gatwick international airports.

    Epsom and Banstead are located in Surrey - they border the Greater London area. As a consequence Epsom and Banstead are extremely popular areas with those looking to move into the London area for work commitments - commuting into central London by train takes less than one hour each way.

    The great thing about Epsom and Banstead is that their location means you'll never be short of shops to browse or things to do. Access to central London's hive of shops, restaurants and bars is easy and cheap. By the same token, Epsom and Banstead benefit from fantastic local amenities including the Ashley Centre - a modern shopping centre full of fantastic shops, from big brands to small independent traders. The area also plays host to a cinema.
