    6 steps to selling with Hearnes estate agents

    Step 1 - An accurate market appraisal

    How much is your home worth? It's vital to get an accurate valuation so the best possible price is achieved. There is no estate agency better qualified than Hearnes to provide precisely the necessary information due to our unmatched knowledge of the local property market.

    Step 2 - Marketing your home

    Naturally, we use all available means to make sure your home reaches the largest possible number of potential buyers from local property publications, through the leading home sale websites, to national press. Once we've started marketing, our state-of-the-art technology goes to work matching suitable buyers to your home. But at Hearnes we're great believers in the human touch, so we'll carefully register and check all applicants, to ensure that they are serious potential buyers who won't waste your time.

    Step - 3 viewings

    Taking care to match the right people to the right property makes it much more likely that a viewing will lead to a sale. I addition to this our enthusiastic and incredibly hard working people know exactly how to show off your home to its best advantage, At Hearnes it really is all about you - and we'll stop at nothing to do the best possible job on your behalf

    Step 4 - agreeing a sale

    When we receive an offer for your home, we'll liaise between you and the potential buyer until a price is agreed advising you at all times to the best course of action. Our staff are all trained to verify buyers funding and if appropriate the chain supporting their offer. This avoids sales falling through at a later stage in many cases

    .Step 5 - Instructing solicitors

    Once a sale is agreed we will need to involve solicitors. Hearnes have working relationships with several firms locally if you need any guidance at this stage. It is very important that a sale is placed in solicitors hand promptly so as not to delay proceedings.

    Step 6 Moving day

    Completion day can be a little frantic to where possible Hearnes will collect the keys from you and deliver them once you have completed to the new owner.

    SALLY GRAVENER - Owner
    Sally attended the Ringwood schools and Sixth Form before beginning her estate agency career in 2001, where she became top sales person for eight years in Ringwood before managing an estate agency branch in Highcliffe. Sally enjoyed a rural upbringing on a dairy farm on the Bisterne Estate and now lives with her fiancé in Ringwood where they enjoy being part of the local community. Sally enjoys running, competitive exercise and travel alongside walking in The New Forest.

    ANTHONY HOLTOM - Owner
    Anthony started agency at Elliott & Green estate agents in New Milton during college in 1986 as a work experience candidate. Anthony continued to build his career in estate agency working in eight towns and villages across Hampshire and Dorset, quickly progressing to manager of a flagship branch within a corporate estate agency branch in Ringwood. In 2010 Anthony joined his fiancée, Sally Gravener, in becoming a joint owner of Hearnes in Ringwood, where they have been able to offer a more personalised service with tailored marketing to suit each property's and customer's needs. Anthony is a keen golfer, his home club being Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club, where he enjoys playing with his son Samuel, and father Edwin Holtom, former captain of the club.

    TOBY KINDRED - Market Appraisal Manager
    Toby has gained a wealth of experience since beginning his career as an estate agent in 2003 when he moved from London to Lymington, where he now resides with his wife and two children. Toby managed a large call centre and an estate agency office before joining Sally and Anthony in Ringwood within 2005 where he has been valuing up to 60 properties in The Ringwood area every month. Prior to estate agency, Toby worked as a butler for the Royal family in both London and Paris where he gained much life experience and some very interesting stories to which he is bound by secrecy! Toby is a keen seaman and is looking forward to purchasing a RIB when his children are old enough to share his hobby.

    DAN GODWIN - Senior Property Consultant
    Born and raised in Ringwood, Dan attended the local Ringwood schools before joining the building trade where he trained as a carpenter, working alongside a local builder, gaining a variety of skills which he hopes to be able to use to renovate his own property in the future. He has been involved in property since 18 years of age and loves the diversity of property within the Ringwood market. Dan is professional and friendly and aims to progress his career with Hearnes in eventually managing an office.

    SARAH GOVIER - Property Consultant
    Sarah, former head chef at The Three Tons, joined Sally and Anthony in Ringwood during 2005 to start her career in estate agency. Sarah quickly became very successful through her personable nature and hard work, building a local reputation as being a proactive estate agent. Sarah is married with a beautiful baby girl and enjoys outdoor pursuits including surfing and snowboarding.

    TARA CONROY- Property Consultant
    Tara is bubbly and enthusiastic with a great work ethic. Living within the forest, she has a keen interest in outdoor pursuits including wildlife and horse riding. Tara has enjoyed great success since joining Hearnes and has a particular interest in selling properties within The New Forest boundaries.
