      James Grillo - Partner
      James is the Partner responsible for our Residential Sales office in Haslemere. He was born in Surrey and was at school just outside Haslemere, which he has always considered to be his 'local' town. In recent years James headed up the Country House Department for a national estate agency before returning to his roots. He is the third generation of his family to be a Chartered Surveyor in the county. His local knowledge, breadth of experience, professional rigour and passion for the business helps to ensure the very best results for our clients.

      Daniel Porter - Negotiator
      Daniel was born and raised in Midhurst so knows the area and surroundings well and currently lives in the small village of South Harting near to Petersfield with his wife and young family. He started his career in estate agency in 2007 and joined Henry Adams in January 2013 working in the Petersfield office until an opportunity arose to work with the Haslemere team. In his spare time he is a keen match angler.

      Brought up in Guildford, Deborah has been responsible for all the administration and secretarial support in this busy office since 2012.  She has lived in Haslemere with her family for the last 15 years and as such possesses an excellent knowledge of the town's facilities and surrounding area. Deborah has had varied jobs including ticket sales for West End Shows and co-ordinating weddings and events.

        The most Southerly town in Surrey, Haslemere is a charming market town steeped in history and nestled between wooded hills. Surrounded by National Trust land, it is one of the gems of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a gateway to the South Downs National Park.

        Many of the fine houses in Haslemere were built during the later 19th and early 20th century and due to the easy access into London by rail, the town became a fashionable place to live and continues to be a popular commuter town for busy professionals. Haslemere also boasts an excellent array of family homes many with generous gardens and flats to rent with views over the beautiful English countryside.

        Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Haslemere and its neighbouring villages are surrounded by breath-taking countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust including the natural amphitheatre of the Devil's Punchbowl providing the perfect opportunity to expolore this stunning part of Surrey.

        Historically Haslemere has been something of a literary hub with a number of well known authors settling here in their lifetime including Poet Laureate Alfred Lord Tennyson who lived just South of Haslemere in the majestic Aldworth House (now worth over £14 million), plus play writer George Bernard Shaw and writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle most noted for creating the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes.

        Haslemere Charter Fair - In 1393 Haslemere was given an annual fair by Royal Charter which still takes place every other year in the High Street. This charming event brings together residents of Haslemere and the wider community for a Spring day out with live music, traditional fairground rides and family entertainment.

        The welcoming town offers a wonderful blend of independent boutiques and convenience shops. The high street with its wide boulevard is perfect for a lazy day spent perusing or equally when essential shopping is needed. Every month Haslemere puts on a wonderfully traditional farmers market in town, where you can buy locally grown produce and enjoy seasonal treats.

Ranging from primary schools including Camelsdale, Grayswood and Highfield & Brookham through to sixth form such as The Royal School.
