    Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) replaced the Home  Information Packs (HIPs) in 2010 and carry information  regarding the energy efficiency of an individual property, as  well as its environmental impact.

    You will note that property details carry two coloured graphs;  these indicate that a property does indeed have an EPC.

    An EPC has a ten year life span, and your property must have  an EPC ordered prior to marketing, if one does not already  exist. A national register exists to establish whether or not  a property does have an EPC, and once your EPC has been  completed it will automatically be uploaded to this register by  the supplier.

    A quick an easy process - your EPC can usually be added to  your property sales particulars within hours of the qualified  assessor visiting your home.

    We would recommend that you invest in a new EPC if works or  improvements have been carried out at your property since the  date of an existing EPC.

    Floor plans, whilst not legally required, have proven  incredibly useful to buyers and sellers since they  started to appear on sales details alongside the  photographs.
