This was my first experience of undertaking both of these activities, but I have to say that working with Horts made the whole experience seem smooth and much less stressful than what I was led to believe moving house would be.   Having a terrible experience with another estate agent in Rugby Myself, my mum and my gran have now all used Philippa from Horts for buying/selling properties and have found her to be very friendly, always gets back to you straight away (even when she's on her days off!) and willing to help any way she can. I also used the letting team and found them to be equally as good, very friendly and helpful, extremely good at their job and getting everything done on time but without being pushy. I am normally very sceptical of anyone selling anything but I had such a good experience that I will be recommending Horts lettings and sales to everyone.

  ..went above and beyond

  We first met Ian when we were looking for a smaller house to downsize to. He was smartly dressed, personable and funny and actually listened to what we wanted. We had dealt with a couple of Estate Agents a couple of years before and to be honest they did match my preconceived thoughts and we weren't looking forward to the experience. They were pushy, over the top and just told us what they thought we wanted to hear just to get the sale. Ian was not like this at all. He has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, always kept me up to date with proceedings, chased when things weren't going to plan, helped us out numerous times and went above and beyond his duties as our Estate Agent, and his knowledge is immense.We haven't dealt with Denise obviously for as long, but she was also very professional, knowledgeable, kept the chain moving and was totally on top of it all.I hope we stay in touch with Ian it feels like he has been on this journey with us like a friend would and it will feel rather strange not having the weekly, often daily updates, and his sense of humour on hand to guide us through.I would and will recommend Hort's to everyone and anyone as I couldn't fault a single thing.Thank you massively Ian for everything and making this moving experience much easier, it's very much appreciated.

  Phillipa Morgan of Horts' Rugby branch and her colleague Denise in Sales Progression are a dream team. They were representing the vendors of the house we were buying, yet they did far more to help complete our sale than our own (on line) agent. Phillipa also showed us round several properties during our search for a new home and she was always very helpful and acted with the utmost professionalism.   Bloody Excellent!

  The experience I had with Horts was so good that I opted out of selling with 'Purple Bricks.' I put all of my trust in Horts just because of the way they ALL 'presented.' To anybody, 'first impressions' is so imprtant.They were all sharply dressed right down to polished shoes, Knowledgable, kind, attending to every need and detail, helpful, on the ball as to where we were in the selling of my property and the buying the house of my dreams.Ian Smith represented me, and I found him to be to be all of the above but he also gave the personal touch by really 'doing the journey ' with me, such is his care and attention to me as the seller. (He is hilarious too!!)After the whole experience from the beginning to the closure, I now consider him my friend. Ian's 30's in this business really shows and because of him I would recommend Horts to everybody I know that wants to sell their property.The other thing I love about Horts is that they have Denise Webb who is job is the full time 'follow up.'
