Our referencing service is designed to minimise the risks and to ensure that the lettings process runs smoothly. As well as financial references and fraud checks, we approach employers and, where applicable, any previous landlord.

    Jacksons Fully Managed Serviced

    Our property management staff are regularly updated and trained to keep them informed of developments in the law affecting residential lettings specifically to protect your interests. We carry out monthly or periodic property visits to ensure your property is being loked after. We aim to exceed your expectations and to give you the advice and service you deserve.

    (AST) Tenancy Agreement

    Our Tenancy Agreement are specifically drawn up to take account of the latest legislation and to protect your interests. We also receive frequent industry updates.
    Inventories & Schedule of Condition

    All tenancies require a professional inventory which details not only the contents of your property but also its condition at the start and end of the tenancy. This is now required as essential evidence in proving any damage or similar claim against a tenant's deposit. Our team will advise what steps need to be taken.

    Vacant properties

    Jackson & Co also visit your property when it's vacant to comply with your insurance policy or to assist with repairs, access for workman or an important delivery.

    Payments

    Our software system enables us to make prompt and accurate payments with the accounting service it allows us to send you statements as you want to receive them, via email or post, and pays your rent directly into your bank account. Our software is the only package currently approved by the National Institute of Chartered Accountants.

    Our commitment to you

    At Jackson & Co we work longer and harder than any other letting agent. From 8am until 9pm Mon-Friday and 9am - 6pm Saturday, 10am - 2pm Sunday and Bank Holidays. 90% of Letting Agents close at 5pm and do not open Sundays.

    Our reputation is very good amongst the Chinese community. Many Students this year are now reserving apartments from Hong Kong & China & Malasia as they know they will get good service when they arrive.

    They can turn up come to our office which is open until 9pm in the evening and we can move you in to your new apartments. If there is any problem we have good quality hotels available.

    We also sell investment properties to Chinese, Malasian & Middle Eastern investors who want to put family Students in properties to save on renting. These can then be rented again when your tenant or family member moves on.

    Jackson & Co specialises in Finding accommodation for Students. We offer a full service to all Students to include finding you a house or apartment. Helping you with furniture,broadband and TV packages. We will help you to get to know the area. This includes local food stores for Chinese and Middle Eastern foodstuffs. Local bus routes, furniture removal and storage facilities. Where the local communities are for social purposes outside of Uni to include meeting places clubs, restaurants, karaoke and much more.

    Our reputation goes way beyond any normal letting agents. Many students are now reserving accommodation over the phone and internet from their home countries prior to arrival in the UK.

Having been highly educated at Portsmouth Uni going onto do a master's degree with her specialist subject in maths and statistics Victoria is well placed to handle this role. Victoria is a highly valued and cheery member of the team and is methodical and incredibly thorough in her work.
