Wimbledon is internationally known, primarily for the annual All England Open Lawn Tennis Championships – but there is much more to Wimbledon as a residential destination.
Wimbledon Common is one of the largest areas of common land in London totalling approx. 1,350 acres and is host to two eighteen hole golf courses, horse riding stables, 3 ponds and a Grade 2 listed Windmill.
The residential and retail areas are virtually split into two sections – The Village and The Town. Our office in is located at 53, Wimbledon Hill Road, ideally placed to cover both Wimbledon areas and further South into Raynes Park.
The Town plays host to two highly acclaimed theatres, The New Wimbledon Theatre and The Polka Theatre which caters primarily in productions for children.
Wimbledon station provides both Network Rail and District Line connections, the former with services direct to London Waterloo and the latter with services into The West End. There are numerous bus routes with multiple destinations.
There are many pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from with cuisine from all parts of the world.
Schools are also wide and varied and include King’s College, Holy Trinity, Wimbledon High and Dundonald Primary.
