    Matt Jacobs | Managing Director
    In January 2018, Ashley and Derek handed over the reins to joint Managing Directors Pat Barton and Matt Jacobs, who have both enjoyed a long history with the company. Pat started his career with Jacobs Steel over 23 years ago, working his way up to a senior management position before leaving to gain experience in the corporate world. 

    For Matt, Ashley's son, Jacobs Steel has always been a part of his life. Following in his Dad's footsteps, Matt joined the company as a teenager when he started as a Saturday Assistant. Later in his career, he moved to Foxtons in London before relocating to Sydney, Australia, to run a sales business. In 2017 he returned to the UK to take over from his Father.

    Ashley Jacobs | Founding Director  
    Worthing born and bred, Ashley Jacobs and Derek Steel founded the business in 1984 with one office in Broadwater; and have since grown the company in to the well-respected, market leading estate agency it is today. The first shop on Broadwater Boulevard was quickly followed by offices in Lancing, West Worthing, Shoreham, Worthing Town Centre and finally, Findon Valley. 

    Since Managing Director's Pat Barton & Matt Jacobs took on the company in 2018, Ashley has been enjoying semi-retirement. He still very much has a handle on the company's goings on and can often be found in our Town Centre office; however, he does now have that little bit of extra time for a few rounds of golf!
