    Who is James Alexander ?

    James Alexander was chosen as it 'just sounded right the first time we heard it' It represents a combination of Ken & his wife Maria's fathers' first names, James & Alexander. It is also the name of their son, James Alexander Hume.
    We are a family firm with customer service and satisfaction at the core of everything that we do.

    Ken Hume 
    Ken is the founder of James Alexander.
    He regularly appears on BBC1 in show Homes Under The Hammer, has a weekly podcast ( The Property Buyer & Sellers Podcast ) & a daily live Facebook & Youtube show-Ken At Ten. 
    From a long career as a professional DJ in London nightspots including Crazy Larrys, Sir Johns and Ziggys, Ken decided after buying the first family home it was time to get a 'proper' job!
    He became a Junior Estate Agent for a large London corporate. Progressing through the ranks, he eventually became a Franchisee. By the early 90's Ken was frustrated by the ways of the corporates and established James Alexander to take them on in 1994.

    Caroline Rollins
    Caroline will get you moving! She has a reputation for getting things done.
    A fantastic negotiator as well as a renowned sales progressor, she is on first name terms with well, actually everybody including local solicitors, she pushes wherever the log jam is to ensure the sales are on track.
    She regularly receives thank you gifts & cards from clients for her dedication.
