After an industrial past, the area is now considerably more commercial with serious landmarks and destinations such as Battersea Power Station, New Covent Garden Market and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The upcoming construction of Linear Park that runs through Nine Elms will offer a completely car-free green space between Vauxhall Bridge and Battersea Power Station.
