I am a keen property photographer and studied Graphic Design and Photography at Art College; there are very few Estate Agents that can say this and you only have to look at some of the photographs used to showcase houses to see for your self. In a world that is so reliant upon the internet, getting the RIGHT images of your property are all important. We all look first and if the image does not look appealing, even if the house would have been perfect, you will probably NEVER look at it.
Image is everything, sometimes it may take a few days to get the right weather, sunshine, aspect for your home, but get it right and it will make all the difference. The saying that you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.
Any property good or bad will sell if it’s the price is low enough! And just because an Estate Agent values your home for a lot more money that you thought does not Always make it true. Getting the right price for you home is just as important as taking the right photograph, you may get lots of people who want to look at it, but if no one is prepared to make an offer – something is wrong! In our meeting to discuss the sale f your home, I will always offer good sensible advice on prices – not just to generate a quick and easy sale, if your price starts too high you may not be able to achieve the right price later and have to sell for less as buyer start to consider there is something wrong with the house.
This is my own business and it vital that it flourishes. This happens by recommendation, I want to ensure that you are so happy with the way that I have looked after your move that you would be more than happy to suggest to friends and family to also speak to me themselves. I am not a large corporate anonymous business, this is me, Jon Morris from start to finish.
Finally, communication. I alluded to this initially, but this is one of the most important part of being and Estate Agent. You will always be able to speak to me, I work from home and can answer calls from early morning, even if I am walking the dog on the beach! Right through to evening whist watching the News at 10! Sometimes this is for nothing more than a little support, after all house buying is likely to be the biggest purchase we ever make. This is not during the search for a buyer BUT continues right up until the day you move house; and beyond that as I still receive calls from clients that I have helped move over the years and whilst working for different companies “ I was thinking of adding a conservatory, is this a good idea?” “We are expecting again and need to extend the house, is this sensible or should we move?”
