    Ben Roberts - Managing Director
    Ben's background is in mortgages and he has over ten years experience in the industry. His original plans were to open a mortgage brokerage, however his parents (Paul and Glenys) who already had years of experience in the property market, convinced him to combine the new venture into an estate/letting agency which also specialised in mortgages. Following the credit crunch in 2008 it turned out to be a wise move and, although the market has been difficult, he has made a success of his business. Raised in Connah's Quay, Ben knows the area inside-out and still lives here with his wife, Jill. He enjoys coarse fishing and competes at a high level representing Wales in World and European Championships. Skiing and football are his other passions in life.

    Interesting Fact! In his younger years, Ben was a ski instructor in Andorra!

    Glenys Roberts - Lettings Coordinator
    Glenys brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Keystone team and her attention to detail has improved many areas of the business in recent years.       TENANT FIND PLUS

      50% + VAT of first months rent (subject to a minimum fee of £350 plus VAT, a total of £420).

      If you want to avoid the hassle, or are uncertain of the processes involved in preparing a water-tight tenancy agreement, credit checking tenants, taking a deposit and other new regulations then Tenant Find Plus may be just what you need. This package will include:

      • A full valuation on expected rental returns for the property
      • Marketing the property on the largest property portal - Rightmove and if required erecting a Keystone "To Let" board at the property
      • Organising all viewings on the Landlord's behalf
      • Full referencing and credit check of potential tenants to ensure that they are suitable for the landlord's property
      • Providing a comprehensive Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement
      • Taking the deposit and advanced rental and organising a standing order for future rental payments

      INVENTORY (Optional as part of tenant find plus package)

      £100 plus VAT

      An Inventory and Schedule of Condition of the property can be purchased as an extra to the above. This will be done on state of the art software that will be dated automatically and will show the property's contents, furniture, fittings and effects. An Inventory is important to agree with your tenant at the beginning of the tenancy as it will form the basis of any claim for damages.


      TENANT FIND PLUS AND FULL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

      £300 plus VAT tenant find fee. Then 10% plus VAT per month (subject to minimum fee of £50 plus VAT per month)

      This package includes:

      • Ensuring regulations on Legionnaires disease are adhered to
      • Arranging maintenance of the property if necessary and agreeing charges with the landlord before the maintenance commences
      • Checking the tenant out of the property when the tenancy ends

        Our whole experience with Keystone has been nothing short of Perfect! It all started with an appointment with Ben, to gain an idea of how getting a mortgage would work, and what needed to be done! After having a chat about our needs, he did all the work in finding the mortgage that was right for us! Later that day, he had us approved, and arranged a viewing on the house we had already fallen in love with before stepping foot inside! Within half an hour of being accepted, Rach...el was at the house waiting for us! That was it, bid was accepted, and the house was ours! Not only did Ben source our mortgage, he recommended us to a solicitor, Byron Cross, (who will also be getting a review of this nature) and as first time buyers with no idea how getting our first mortgage would happen, this took away all of the initial stress! Step by step, all of the team at Keystone kept us fully informed on progress, they made us feel at ease all of the way through our buying experience! Even on the day we were dude to get our keys, there was one hic up which the whole team worked hard on resolving, it made us feel like us having our new home on time was their priority and nothing else mattered! If anybody is considering mortgage advice, buying a property, or even renting your home, I give you my word that you are in safe hands with Keystone!
