    Michael Hardy was founded in 1985 as an estate agency specialising in the sale of residential property of all types and in all price categories from its offices in Wokingham and Crowthorne. A Lettings Division was established in 1998, based in Wokingham but managing properties throughout the Crowthorne, Reading, Finchampstead and Wokingham areas. Over the years the company has built a strong reputation for honesty, professionalism and innovative marketing.

    One of the fundamental differences between Michael Hardy and its competitors is the maturity, professionalism and experience of the sales team, coupled with the company's attitude towards providing excellent service.

    To this end the Managing Director, Neal Mackenzie, is actively involved in the day to day running of the agency, ensuring clients are updated after every viewing and kept fully in the picture with regard to progress of the subsequent sale. With over 100 years of combined local knowledge in Wokingham and Crowthorne, vendors can have faith in the advice and guidance they receive from the Michael Hardy team.

    Neal Mackenzie - Director
    I left Forest School in 1979 and rather fell into Estate Agency after the army decided it could defend the country without my help! I worked with Michael Hardy when he was a director at Nicholas Estate Agents and then joined him when he started his own firm, Michael Hardy, the company of which I am now Managing Director. I have witnessed many changes in the town over the last 30 years: booms, busts and everything in between. I live in Wokingham with my wife Debra, 3 sons, 2 dogs and 4 cats - believe it or not I don't like cats! When I am not in the office I like to go cycling I also like to play golf - badly! Otherwise I am walking the dogs or ferrying my sons to and from somewhere!

    I live in Wokingham and have worked for Michael Hardy since May 1997, becoming the manager of the Crowthorne office in 2002. Having lived in the area all of my adult life I have a wealth of local knowledge along with many years of estate agency experience. In my spare time I enjoy walking, cycling and foreign travel and have family in both Portugal and Canada whom I try to visit as regularly possible.
