    Dear Karen Busby,

    I recently sold my property on the 29th October 2012 using Michael Poole's office in Ingleby Barwick, my house was in the Rings area of Ingleby Barwick.

    Prior to appointing Michael Poole Estate agent I used one of their local competitors, I never received any feedback after viewings, I was given no guidance, and was endlessly phoning them up, they never phoned me. After a year I was ready to give up being told my property was not selling because "the market was dead", "it will pick up soon", and I was also informed my property was "priced appropriately". I was told to "stick with us, it will sell eventually".

    I eventually decided to ignore the advice and moved the property to Michael Poole Estate agent; the approach was different and refreshing from day one. They also "price matched" the previous agents fees. I received more viewings in the first 2 months than I had received in the previous year. Each time I received constructive feedback and received regular telephone calls and SMS (text) reminders of all house viewings. We even received two offers, though we did not accept them as we felt they were on the low side.

    Eventually we found the house we wanted but our house had still not sold, so we asked the question "if we wanted to sell quickly, what would be a sensible price?" We received helpful and realistic advice and re-marketed the property at the new price. It sold at a realistic price to a couple that were in a position to proceed within the 6 weeks' time frame we had set. This enabled us to buy are new dream home.

    I cannot thank Michael Poole enough, but I would personally like to thank and praise Karen Busby and her staff for their help and support from the very first day I walked into their office until the day of completion. I could not recommend them enough for their professional, supportive approach to the professional service they provide. The only word of advice I would give - be realistic on your price, you can and will sell using Karen and her team at Michael Poole.
