Established over 50 years ago, Miller Countrywide is one of the largest and certainly one of the very best known Residential Estate Agencies in the South West of England. The company operates from 30 Offices and Specialist Departments from St Ives in the extreme West of Cornwall to Exmouth on the East Devon coast.
Our Specialist Departments handle exclusively the marketing and sale of waterside and country homes and also farms, smallholdings and land. The Truro Waterside & Country Homes Department was established in 1986 to handle the sale of the more interesting, distinctive and exclusive properties in the country and by the water. In Cornwall, Miller Countrywide is and has been without question the market leader in this sector for a number of years.
The Counties of Devon and Cornwall continue to be extremely popular as an area for the purchase of second and holiday homes. Over recent years, interest from these types of prospective purchasers, alongside that of local people, has ensured that demand within the market has been and remains strong.
Miller Countrywide’s main strength, however, is in its network of large, main street Residential Offices located in prominent positions in most principal towns, coastal resorts and within the cities of Truro, Plymouth and Exeter. You will see our distinctive green and yellow house shaped boards on many hundreds of properties, of many differing styles and in all price ranges. In addition to our extensive range of local Offices, we are part of Countrywide plc which is the largest Estate Agency Group in the United Kingdom with over 1100 Offices countrywide. We register many thousands of potential purchasers each month and are uniquely placed, not only to provide probably the widest range of properties for sale in Devon and Cornwall, but also have access to interest from the highest number of ready and able purchasers.
