I cannot help expressing one view about your operation ... I don't think you charge enough. I do understand though that pricing is a difficult issue in business. Having seen what can be achieved in terms of website coverage I would certainly be happy to pay more. £499 + VAT wouldn't be expensive. Perhaps even £799 + VAT (which is under £1,000 in total).

Feedback: We sold within 3 weeks of being advertised with MPFS! We found the whole process extremely user friendly and effective.
Selling privately is good, but you do need to advertise on Rightmove to reach the masses, estate agents have monopolised the site as their own for far too long, so to be able to infiltrate the system was refreshing and liberating!
We appreciated being allowed to write our own descriptions of our beautiful home and being able to state the obvious benefits and unique selling points of our property (which had previously been disallowed by a high street estate agent), was a bonus and we are in no doubt, helped sell the property so quickly! All details were checked thoroughly by the my property for sale rep to comply with all the regulations
The photographs were equally good and to be able to add a positive heading for each image which also appeared on the Rightmove advert is unique and competes extremely favourably with most high street agents.

I am currently selling our property 48 St Peters Road through your company. I am really happy with the service and the weekly feedback is fab. I have received feedback from some friends and locals that they have been put off buying/viewing the property for 2 reasons-
1- they do not want to negotiate directly with the seller when buying. They somehow believe it is dodgier than offering through a high street agent. When I explain that you guys handle all negotiations on our behalf they seem happier.
2- they are worried they may meet some wierdo vendor and no-one know where they are! When I explained you guys logged the viewings they also seemed happier. "Oh" is the first response!
Also we saw 3 estate agents before deciding to sell ourselves and one agent in particular seemed dodgy enough to put sellers off viewing with scaremongering techniques.
Is it possible to put in 2nd paragraph after the we are pleased to offer for sale paragraph as a message from the seller paragraph.
"Message from the seller - We are happy to sell our property with my property for sale. Not only are they available 9-5 daily to take the details of people wishing to view the property but they also handle all property offers, making us happy house sellers."

Dear My Propertyforsale, Have been meaning to e-mail to say a big thank you! I removed my property from your website today as it sold last week. We sold to the first person that viewed, in the first week after advertising it on your website, accepting an offer very near the asking price - which means that we have saved ourselves around £12 000 in agents commission!. We put the house on the website in early Jan, accepted an offer on the 20th Jan and completed last week. The transaction ran very smoothly as we were dealing with our buyers direct and not going through a third party i.e. Estate Agent, and I would never use an agent again. I have recommended the site to everyone.
Whilst the sale progressed, I had regular e-mail and telephone enquiries, and made a list of at least 30 people who sounded really disappointed that they were unable to view as we had already accepted an offer. Our buyers were so keen not to lose our house that they put down a non-returnable deposit, and we therefore agreed not to show the house to anyone else, unless the sale collapsed. It didn't collapse, just jogged along as these things do and we completed on the 9th May.

I'm delighted to say we have recently completed on our house sale after advertising on MPFS. We had our first viewing only 3 days after placing the ad on the website, and this was converted into an offer a week later. Sadly the chain collapsed, but after re-running the ad on MPFS we had another offer within 10 days, and this turned into a successful completed sale only 5 weeks later. We didn't even need to put the "For Sale" board up. The sale was no more troublesome than it would have been via an estate agent, and we saved a massive £6200 in fees. Using the website was simple and very effective, and I can thoroughly recommend it.

I originally got an estate agent round to value my bungalow that I wanted to sell, I had in mind a price of £350,000, the estate agent told me that it was not a good time for selling at the moment and told me to put my property on the market for £295,000, I was not happy with this price as properties in the area that were smaller had sold for £320000ish, I placed my advert on your site with a price of £349950, I SOLD it for the asking price! I will never ever use an estate agent again, they could have cost me £50,000 plus the fees (£6000)

I cannot help expressing one view about your operation ... I don't think you charge enough. I do understand though that pricing is a difficult issue in business. Having seen what can be achieved in terms of website coverage I would certainly be happy to pay more. £499 + VAT wouldn't be expensive. Perhaps even £799 + VAT (which is under £1,000 in total).
